    The staff was friendly and attentive. The prices were very reasonable. There was a variety of vegetarian options, and even a couple vegan ones. The vegan roll (avocado on top with tofu inside with sweet chili sauce) was absolutely AMAZING!!! We are from Eugene, and we'll definitely try and eat there again when visiting!

    What can I say? I like this place. The neighborhood...how can I put it lightly? It's "interesting". Don't let that put you off. The folks inside are great, the place is clean, the sushi's good, and the prices are reasonable. I went there for lunch on a Tuesday and the place filled up. I think they needed a few more people attending the diners to get folks checked in/out more quickly, but I could probably say that about any lunch spot downtown. Give Sushi Ichiban a shot if you're in the neighborhood.

    I absolutely love Sushi Ichiban. It’s small and has a nice feel. And the train collections are something I’ve been able to watch grow over the years.

    The food was good and we were seated immediately but not all of our first paper order was made and the second round of our paper order never even got started. The train they had going around had almost no food on it and the seats were full. Instead of talking to each other and standing around I think everyone there would have rather had food then watch that. Especially since we were there for an hour and my partner n I only had 12-14 plates between us.

    Great sushi and Japanese cuisine, friendly staff, cute location. The train is paced excellently and their steamed buns are amazing. You can get stuffed for a very reasonable price.
